The Amsterdam MBA is located in the heart of Amsterdam, a vibrant and multicultural European hub combining long-standing business tradition with entrepreneurial spirit.
The program is a network-oriented MBA in a multidisciplinary and international environment with close linkages to the Amsterdam business community and international partners
It is a team-oriented MBA program with small and interactive classes led by inspiring instructors with in-depth industry experience and world-class academic reputation
Finally, being a customized MBA program meaning having personalized development plans, an extensive range of electives and trainings tailored to individual career ambitions are offered
Our ambition is to develop leaders in business and society with independent minds, entrepreneurial spirit, and a global mindset
The Amsterdam MBA programme is designed to incorporate three R's; rigour, relevance and reliability. With regards to rigour, we draw on a rich academic tradition of using management scholarship to address business problems. With regards to relevance, we bring the business world into the classroom and take the student out into the business world. Last, reliability is important – students need to be confident in their knowledge while at the same time understanding its limitations.
In the full-time MBA programme, you'll have 15 hours of scheduled class time, while preparation, casework and assignments will take a further 30-35 hours per week. In each study period students take four classes in parallel.
Classes are scheduled from Monday till Thursday. Extracurricular activities such as career workshops, (which are mandatory for the full-time students) company visits and guest speaker events typically take place on Fridays.
