Most of our alumni either go on to do doctoral research or find a professional research position at a think tank, consultancy, NGO, government agency or private research institute.

Beroepsperspectief / arbeidsmarkt

Graduates emerge fully prepared to work as researchers in the field. There are two main career paths:

  • Doctoral research in Maastricht or at other universities in the Netherlands or abroad (and as this is an intense, two-year programme, it may even save you a year of your PhD)
  • Research-related work in a think tank, consultancy, NGO, government agency, private research institute, etc.
